I see myself as a solution-focused, practical and interactive therapist who will help you resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. In my sessions I mainly use a cognitive behavioral approach (CBT) but my work is also strongly influenced by a newer form of behavioral therapy called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). With the use of methods such as mindfulness, acceptance and values it helps people bring back the meaning and purpose they wish for in their lives.

I work with the following presenting problems:

  • Adjustment to Life Changes
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Panic Attacks
  • Life Crises
  • Personality Disorders
  • Sexual Dysfunctions
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
  • Psychosomatic Disorder
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Substance Abuse
  • Stress Related Problems
  • Affirmative psychotherapy for LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) clients
  • Workplace Issues
